My poor baby Hailey sure has been through a lot latley! It seems like every week its something new. We think a mosquito got a hold of her. She had bites all over her one morning when we got her out of bed. She started scratching away, so we bought her a baby ani-itch cream. It didnt seem to keep her from scratching so i put bandaids over the bites. I soaked her in an oatmeal baths which is soupose to be good for insect bites. They were looking good and were healing up well. I picked her up from school and noticed her hello kitty bandaid was replaced with a plain one, and i could see scratches all around her bite. I removed the bandaid while i was giving her her tubby and tried to soak her in the oatmel. Later that night brad noticed her arm was swollen and had a ring of redness around the bite. The area was also warm to touch and felt very hard. We called her doctor who immediatley called her in an antibiotic and a topical cream. Brad took her to see the doctor the following morning and he said she may have a staff infection and doubled her antibiotic dose. With in a few days it seem to clear it up. What a scare! My Little Hailey is one tough cookie!

These things are life savers! Baby Hailey has been taking a few steps here and there and getting much more adventurous. A week or so ago she would climb up the stairs one or two steps before she got scared and called for us to come get her. The other day, the same day she started zipping around on her walker, she made it up the entire flight of stairs before we realized she was even on them. Talk about a panic!
We started putting up a baby gate on whatever floor we are on to keep her off the stairs. She’s an ace no doubt on getting up those stairs, down is another story though and she has tried. I’m nervous that she’ll slip one of these days and go tumbling down, so the gate is going to be a more permanent fixture in our house. I’ll let her play on the stairs when I can be right behind her with my hands ready to catch her but otherwise she’s grounded.

this is about my baby girl hailey and our fun filled adventures since she popped into this world. She has blessed my life with her presence and melted my heart with her ornery little grin! she is now 14 months and has developed quite the little personality….close to a drama queen but yet …..still so cute, such a dangerous combination! she has been through so much in just her short time here on earth, and still has a smile that lights up the world! this is her life the good , the bad,and the funny! i love you baby hailey!!
